never heard but would like to hear.
personally i think it's one of the hardest accents to master. you really do need to take on the voice of a filipino fob to get it right. |

i never heard it, but i'm thinking that there is some sort of influence, because usually American artists don't just go and make up an Asian, let alone Filipino, songs outta the blue. filipino gf, he was in pi, etc?

QUOTE (Cristiano_Ronaldo @ Aug 31 2005, 03:56 PM) Get outta town! He has been around for years. Have you heard "One Last Cry" or "Back at One"? Even if you haven't heard those or remakes of his songs, he produced before he did that. Brian McKnight: This is "So Sorry": http://rapidshare.de/files/4589765/Brian_M...rsion_.MP3.html The story behind why he sang it in Tagalog was that he is good friends with a Filipino singer and he was in the studio with him one day and heard him singing in Tagalog, so he figured he wanted to too. |

'Filipino' is Tagalog that incorporates slang and English words. Authentic Tagalog has very few foreign loan words used in it, thus we differentiate between 'Tagalog' and 'Filipino.'
