It's damn hot in NYC nowadays! It's not as bad comparing to 2008. Well, lots of liquids should do! I have no fan. No a/c. Man, it's really tough to live w/o a/c... especially in the summer. Why were they jacking up the subways? is it 2.50 already? I thought it'd be in 2010? Man, all subway but Seven train are packed, slow, and stinkY I meant pee stinky, and it's all over. (though, 7train might get packed from time to time). This post has been edited by NoJek: Aug 7 2009, 08:19 PM |

Subway and bus fares are $2.25 but it will increase soon! Heard they might eliminate extra transfers, meaning no more bus to bus transfers.

So I've been watching episodes of 'The King of Queens' lately and I've noticed that people in there refer to each other as "guy" alot.
Like: "Hey guy, what you up to?" "Guy, I've got alot of work to do" "You better watch yourself guy" Is this like a New York thing? Most of the cast are native New Yorkers. |

That's kinda true though, but it's not just in NY but all over nowadays. Some feel "GUY"'s much more appropriate to use than "MAN" in most occasions.
Let's look at it. A:"whatsup MAN" B:"whatsup GUY" Can you feel the difference between A & B? This post has been edited by NoJek: Sep 5 2009, 06:53 PM |

"What's up" is more commonly heard than the gay phrase "What's up guy"... You really can't use that if your greeting a girl, and not only that you know your talking to a guy so what is the use of that word huh huh?
