Very pretty girls.

I noticed Vietnamese, both male and female on average are better looking than the average Asian of other countries. It's just my personal observation.

The ao dai in the third pic from the top with the orange blossoms is gorgeous!!! I think I'm gonna have to marry a viet girl so she can wear one for me, and I can dress our daughter in one too. ^^ <3 AO DAI !!!

Good luck. I bet Filipino-Viet mix would produce gorgeous babies. You can put on your daughter áo dài on one day and the barong on another day.

Very hard to find photos of Ao Tu Than that aren't the tacky colored modern version of the peasant Ao Tu Than.

"Vietnamese women wore long-skirted outfit as early as the mid-17th century. However, it was Lord Nguyen-Phuc Khoat who decreed the very first and complete development of costumes for the woman. The oldest outfit is known through pictures preserved at the School of Extreme Orient as the Giao-Lãnh dress. The outfit included a long cotton dress in only dark brown or black, worn outside of a beige cotton blouse, and on top of an ankle-long black skirt. The outfit was completed with a round-shaped conic hat (nón quai thao)."

Ao Tu Than is also still fairly recent then. I thought only the nobles changed their clothing styles through the dynasties but
I guess peasants do too. Movie makers are wrong in adding Ao Tu Than in Khat Vong Thang Long and Ly Cong Uan then.

Prepare yourself with a coffin on your wedding day my friend. Deaths for the Vietnamese husbands are mostly due to their wifes' nagging (as if you didn't notice with the feistiness of the women here on AF).

I agree. To be fair Ive seen only chinese,viets or other SEA where I live. cant comment on the rest.

Fine if you don't like our nagging then go marry some nice quiet non-Viet girls who would let you sleep peacefully at night instead of nagging to your ears every moment.
