I usually keep it simple with just cheese, green bell peppers, onions, ham, and bacon. It depends on what I have laying around in the fridge.

Love the veggie omelettes. Green bell peppers, red bell peppers, mushrooms, red onions, tomatoes and it sounds weird, but I add broccoli as well.

the true joy of an omeltte is an omelette bar, where you choose the ingredients per your current mood/preferences
a standard set of ingredients will mean consitency but tailor made to that moment the ingredients can address your current choices.
i actually only eat omelletes when i have a vast choice......

but the essentials are ham and cheese and mushrooms (portobello)

An omelette without filling it like a sandwich without anything inside it. It's just egg on top of egg.

I make a beautiful Spanish Omelette, but they take too long to cook when you're really hungry and fancy one.

Potatoes and onions...mmm.

I don't make omelettes.

I just beat some eggs, fry them up and put them a bed of cheddar, tomatoes and green peppers.
