why not? they worship USA.
Philipine are very similar to USA due to the fact that both are countries that are "made up" from bits and pieces of other people's culture. Philipine has USA's biggest and longest military base, and the pilipinos just love em! Philipine is USA's most ignored ally, yet they are the most loyal, forgiving host to US's military. just become one, fly the star and spangle on the soil of philipines!!!! yaaaay This post has been edited by oni-mx: Jul 13 2004, 04:06 PM |

all wrong im afraid. im a very perceptive person, and quite objective as well.
i observe and then make a judgement. many times my observation yields highly politically incorrect statements, but it is how i see it. it is those that let politically correctness and other factors to cloud their judgement have the compromising views about issues such as politics and race. i have observe that chinese food is extremely greasy as well, but we all can live with that... the truth, and only the truth...i have no social or political strings to hold me back from making what i think is a fair statement. sorry Im not gonna waste my time arguing with a knucklehead. Believe what you want to believe. Get over your "Im so right Im so superior" mentality.
Im only going to argue with you constructively if you are gonna do thesame. Facts by facts. Which in the past you failed to provide and your previous statements were a mere product of your ignorant view. |

true facts are subjective and can be fabricated.
how are you suppose to argue your limited observation and not mentioning your close mindedness to understand other peoples personal experience which are broader than yours? I hope you're ready to defend what you argue... QUOTE why not? they worship USA. i sincerely believed that philipine should join USA. that way, USA has a stronger presence in SE Asia which has so much turmoil now.
ok, now, what is so bad about USA? fear of loosing ur identity? well, didnt pilipinos say that their culture is a mix of others'? so why not mixed it up summore? its all good rite? why mix willingly with the spanish and the english culture and not with USA? what a double standard. is there anything else worth preserving? and most importantly, do you all even care about your true and indegineous ways? |

I disagree, the Philippines is a sovereign nation and has no intention(as of the current government) on joing the USA. QUOTE ok, now, what is so bad about USA? fear of loosing ur identity? well, didnt pilipinos say that their culture is a mix of others'? so why not mixed it up summore? Filipino identity is unique in itself, there's little hints of everything. QUOTE its all good rite? why mix willingly with the spanish and the english culture and not with USA? what a double standard. We NEVER had any English influence FYI. QUOTE is there anything else worth preserving? and most importantly, do you all even care about your true and indegineous ways? Yes, our dignity and our history because thats what makes us Filipinos. |

U.S. doesn't even want Puerto Rico as a state, what makes you think they want the Philippines?
On the other hand, what makes you think Filipinos want to give up their right to govern themselves to be part of the Pax Americana? This post has been edited by Kulong: Jul 17 2004, 07:55 PM |
