LOL. The same thing is happening in Thailand, with PM Thaksin Shinawatra dissolving the house for a re-vote.
Good Job Thailand-Philippines. We two are truly democratic states of ASEAN! |

well cory's not the prez anymore. its mrs. aroyo now. i like her very much but the communists and detractors think she's a useless drama queen intent on ruining her country.
i think she's cool as hell. considering that we filipinos are one of the most stubborn people on earth., she managed to put a lot of her protestors in line. more power to her, the roman catholic church, and the media. |

I don't get those protestors/rioters - so what if she "probably" faked her votes - for me, it's been a heck of a long time since the Peso-Dollar exchange rate came this low since the old Marcos thingy. Same as Najjiah, I like GMA.

QUOTE so what if she "probably" faked her votes I don't mean to criticize, but maybe it's this kind of thing that puts corrupt people into power in the first place. |

I think Najiah's referring to Cory and not to GMA?
Yeah, we Filipinos [sometimes] stand up against fraud and corruption but our dear president just won't step down... |
