I don't know why you possess the idea that the culture of the Khmers is a barbaric one. It is absolutely not. Their ancestors had accomplished imazing tasks throughout the vast lands of today's Thailand, Laos and southern Vietnam. The Khmer culture is different from the teaching of Confucius, but it is highly regarded as well. I can't understand the reasoning that every country needs to adopt the Confucius system ?? India is doing fine w/o it. Italy, France, the rest of Europe and America seem to be ok not knowing it.

In recent history, Pol Pot gave the Khmer people a bad name and caused wrong impression about Cambodia. But please don't forget that other nations, highly cultured ones such as Germany, China and Russia, had their own bloody butchers as well.

Maybe you're new here and didn't hear some Chinese members saying pretty much the same thing to the whole Vietnamese race, but I'm sure you wouldn't like it. So please, if you have problem with certain members, I think you should deal with them separately, debate them point-to-point, but please retain from insulting other cultures just because they're different from yours own.

The insults made to Cambodians and Tong Bao Vince had no grounds since they had a right to critize us for our insults to the Cambodian people.

Don't you remember how hurtful the comments by Hung-Gate and other Chinese extremist were? It seems weird that we defend ourselves from that, but the next thing we do is to go to another race and do it to others.
