Look at the controversy section. Filipino people protested in 1999 because the Spaniards named it after them and the chocolate they produce is dark outside and white inside which was considered an insult

I suppose its a good way to promote Filipinos no? sweet and chewy. This could work to our favor. If shop vendors run out of them he/she could always get some filipino off the street as substitute. Just as long its given to a woman embarassedlaugh.gif

I think there's nothing wrong with the Filipino Chocolate since most Filipinos are dark it is like promoting the Filipino heritage and ethnicity which the Filipino skin is basically dark. The Spaniards are not really white they are Iberians which they also have dark skin. The British and Dutch is white but not the Spanish.

Oh, the number of sexual jokes you can come up with.

"Women love chocolate, so of course, they love filipinos"
"Mmm, I'm in a mood for a filipino in my mouth right now"
"Oh my gosh, I put the filipino in my mouth and then the white splattered all over my mouth!"

See?

Three easy.

The reason why Spain also called the chocolate Filipinos because the Philippines had a reputation of having the best tasting Chocolate in the world made of Philippine Cocoa.

I think this is OK

I think this packaging of Filipinos Chocolate is very offensive or very sexy to some. This has a sexual subliminal message like the filipino male is sexy and yummy.

Cocoa originated from Mexico and cultivated in the Philippines but the Spaniards like Philippine Cocoa better than Mexico's.

I have an idea, what if Spain get Piolo Pascual as a model of Filipinos Chocolate it might boost their sale and Spanish women would go to the Philippines to look for a real Filipino.

yes mexicans invented chocolate

I think Filipinos were offended by the brand name and appearance because you know, some Filipinos are whitewashed and wish they were white. Brown outside and white inside

Why is the uniform of the Katipunan like this?
The painting of Andres Bonifacio leader of the Katipunero with white shirt and red neckerchief.
IPB Image

Maybe the Katipunero had branches there because they also wear white shirts with red neckerchiefs or its the other way around.
