Most of the guys I've seen at school use gel... I know because they've got girls trying to touch their hair...
I heard that if you put jell-o in you hair and then blow dry it, it'll become so sharp that you'll cut yourself on it... But I don't know about it... |

I typically use the usual gel and hairspray mix cuz its easier and holds well enough. I know plenty of people that use glue (I've tried it, but it didn't work too well w/ and w/o gel) I've met only one person that used jello, and it really is stiff. I'm trying to decide whether or not to try it. Anyways, I hear egg whites work, but its supposed to make your hair hella nasty too, so, I don't think anyone should try that one.
As for the style, I don't do the whole skinny spikes thing...mainly cuz I can't. I've heard all you really need is a comb to make it 'bristly'. One thing tho...you probably need to have light, thin hair to get it to work. |

if you want thick spikes, use hair glue. and chunk it and spike it. blow dry it if you want.
if you want litttle thin spikes you can use whatever, depending on your hair, i would just use hair glue again. brush your hair while blow drying it. |

Okay, im sorry about asking questions that most of you know already, and thanks for the help.
but when trying to make little thin spikes, using a comb, how should i use the comb? like stroke up or what? How do you spike your hair in the morning or whenever? |

Having typical Asian hair is terrible to maintain....its either too thick, nappy, spiky, and grows too fast...and having short ones is like a toothbrush! it sticks out no matter what...
I never use comb or brush...just mess it up with your fingers, eventually it'll form some sort of design... |

ok anyways... i dont spike my hair, its split... but if u wana spike it... go take a shower.... so your hair is wet as fu-k... then dry it wit a towel until itz only a lil wet... den put gel in ur hair while itz wet n bend over so ur head is pointing towards the ground... now stay in the position till ur hair drys up... then it b spiked... lol...thats how i used to do it... it didnt take dat long.. bout 3 min... but it works... ( u mite have to fix ur hair a lil to get it da way u want while its still damp ) iono bout the comb thing... i never used comb... but my method works.... atleast for me... haha This post has been edited by Dis Boi 2 SkyLLed: Apr 26 2004, 09:15 PM |
