I'd pick Thailand, I don't really trust the Viet goverment (no offence to the viets) thats just the way I feel.

Not dureing the secret war.

The Viet Minh & the Pathet Laos were very close allies, with the same focus for ridding foreign influence & takeing bak the country from any western colonial ruleing or puppetism.

True. Thai people will always look down on Lao--just look at how they treat Issan-they consider Issan as second-class citizens.

People in every country usually look down the poor not race. I had been talk with Italian guy who had been live for long in Thailand. He said every country have their Isan (He understand what isan mean). It is an economic aspect. Because people in Isan quite poor when compare with other part of the country. The soil in issan is not good as other region. There usually have a drought in issan.

If they are rich than the southern. May be people will look down the southern.
