It's going to be difficult to do this...I'll feel really weird asking people what they think of my looks. >.<. Do you actually just go up and ask them to give you rating out of 10 or did you guess?

They might say "You're pretty", but do you ask them "how pretty, from 1-10?" ... or they could have been just telling white lies

Just asking others what they think of your looks (especially when they're strangers) seems so...vain as well. I don't have the guts to ask.

I don't get what these people are supposed to be rating you on, and how you're supposed to know what people think of you. I mean, sometimes people let you know what they think of you (in a good or bad way) but usually you just get a vague sense of what people think. And even if you had a somewhat clear picture of what people thought of you, it wouldn't be so clear that you could actually put a number on it...
