PEPPER!!, different ways to make 'em

my family are pepper freaks and we've been making our pepper the same way forever. kinda wanna try something new. anyone wanna give their pepper recipes?? icon_wink.gif

You can puree peppers with herbs or dice tomatoes, shallots, garlic herbs and peppers, or deep fry peppers or pickle the peppers there so many ways...sky the limit

take some red peppers, and whole heads of garlic (just chop the top of to expose the cloves,rub the garlic with olive oil,roast both of them until the peppers skin is charred and the garlic head is soft and browned..put roasted peppers in a bowl covered with plastic wrap so it sweats and the skin is easier to peel,squeeze out the garlic cloves..after about 5-10 minutes..peel the skin off the peppers and garlic..puree them in blender along with the juice that is gonna come out from the pepper, make mashed potatos and add the puree to the mash potatos adjusting to your taste. VOILA! roasted red pepper and garlic mashed potatoes...tastes awesome and is a great side dish and presentation factor because it will have a red color because of the peppers. salt +pepper to taste..remember to add tons of butter and heated cream to the mash potatoes.
