lolzzz, Lao students and ppl from Laos have more pride in their country then this dude will ever know, that pride was more then aparent during the SEA games, the pride was overhelming, how can he know about Lao pride? Hmong dont even have a homeland, so they have a disconnect when it come to having pride in ones own country, the closet thing to a homeland they have is Wisconsin hahaha

The answer to your question is yes. I am Laotian-American, and I still do care very much about Laos and her well being eventhough I am not living there anymore. It breaks my heart to see buk lao daengs are running the country into the ground. That's because the country is running by a bunch of corrupted morons who don't seem to care about its people but themselves. They are letting too many jeks and gails into the country. Laos is no longer Laos anymore. Vientiane is now Vietiane...What ashame!!!

I hate to agree with you, but I agree. This is the effect of being weak and having uneducated numskulls from the woods and mountains rule the country for the last 30 or so years. It's getting a bit better, but to say that we'll ever be free from the Vietnamese influence and influx, fat chance.

I will always think of the country before the PARTY. I don't care who runs the country. Just love the people you rule and love the land of your ancestors. Everything and everyone is corrupt. As long as they steer the country to a better future, I really don't give a rat's @$$ what they are called.

This man is correct. However, if there were less people like him with this "aura of hatred" towards the Hmong, maybe the ones living in Laos will have more pride. Why have pride in a country that hates you?
