http://www.igma.tv/video/8168/Showbiz-Cent...-interview-niya ngayon ko lang nakita ang interview na toh. i was shocked... nagwala xa. she really took it to heart. but really... how would u feel if your best friend fucc your boyfriend and they made a vid about it & uploaded it on the internet? anyways... bastos si hayden kho. salbahe, manloloko, at taksil. but he's so HOT tho. lolz! did anyone actually see the sex tape? i havent but ive seen him w/o his shirt on & WOW. anyways... kawawa naman talaga si katrina. poor thing is devastated. i guess she lost work, offers, and roles plus the entire nation hated her. but why dont they blame the guy? what about dr. hayden kho? he was guilty as well. goes to show u that the pinoy enterainment industry is biased & sexist. yun lang po. these networks and their showbiz structures are like hogwarts. complex, and the evil is lurking around every corner.
lots of social discussion but was anyone busted for leaking the tapes, and for "logistics" and selling in the streets? isn't this a crime too? If I come to manila with some serious projects, or just to have my nose improved at vicky's, shouldn't I worry that MY harddisk from my travelling notebook might be stolen? and then no meaningful police investigation? globalization has already happened, and THIS is the actual message to the world, about this sad event. everyone gossiping about physical attributes, and the moral guilt of pleasure or societal fault, and in the same moment everyone accepting the easy theft and breach of privacy, everyone accepting as normal that the video was sold and there was no help? so if someone does not like a certain person, and be it with a reason, it is normal method to do such things to that person, theft of sensitive data, harrassment, whatever, and get away? can you get me with this thought? she seems to be doing okay na...nasa rosalinda siya diba they killed her off & they ressurected her again. she keeps playing contrabida roles so that doesnt help her public image at all. these networks and their showbiz structures are like hogwarts. complex, and the evil is lurking around every corner. lots of social discussion but was anyone busted for leaking the tapes, and for "logistics" and selling in the streets? isn't this a crime too? I have seen enough the paparazzi thing, and the cooked scandal just for making ratings. but this to me looks like synergy between the hype thing and something else. I really wish people would dare to discuss also the aspects of security and integrity of the judicial system. obviously crime was involved, and _not_ just a little <<dismantle you morally, as well as humiliate >> use of second-row celebs for scandal and outrage to make a buzz is a global disease and why not openly despise? but it's not that important. some filipino singers, entertainers, actors really excel also in global perspective, so it is really sad when media still need that extra BS and can't rely on quality alone. and doesn't it become worse, and don't the new contest shows drop the singers with best skills and integrity and create hype around naive dumbasses who can't sing $hit but fully depend on the show and can't get a leg on the ground on their own? this will bring down musical skills in the whole nation, we have seen this in germany. this is clearly a business model on purpose. I am notoriously posting everywhere, that I want singers for singing, and not non-singers with a mike doing goof and sleeping around, and playing the monkey for the media. but that's just a sidestep because of what you answered. katrina may choose any life she wants, but see it the other way. charice is now meeting people with global dimension. like billionaires and politicians. there is no visible crime around these people. (there may be some dark points in some of their business but charice can feel totally safe) it happened to her because of oprah, but there are others, and there will be many others in the future. now, see it the other way. one of these entrepreneurs would come to manila, and negotiate some bigger project. like dams to protect cities against floods. he may appear on TV to promote the thing, and in spare time also meet some artists, and hang around with charice or some TV celeb (and some sure are actually intelligent and exciting to meet), as it was possible in the US. and signs on the wall, like the katrina issue, make him fear that his hotel room might be raided, and data be stolen. and the more if someone else is jealous about the project. though this kind pf people know how to protect themselves, but however, in the end the project might not come together, because this guy has the choice _where_ to do business. would it not be wise to rethink the matter in a bigger context, does it close some doors? block ways, of how good projects may emerge around the contacts that are being created by artists? artists can create a lot of intercultural contacts on a high level, that can continue with healthy business. but if the major TV does not have a healthy house, and police don't work as expected, then it will become much more difficult.
