i'd have to say Jo Sung Mo. i love his ballads. He's been out for a while now and still going strong. i respect that even though the asian music industry has made huge leaps in the alst few years, not only has jo sung mo's style remained constant, but he's still managed to keep up in the music scene. i

Jay Chou. His history to fame as his history after becoming a star is probably what you would call a story that could be written as a movie or novel and be loved. His music art is also one of the rare pieces where u can listen to his songs and not understand the words that come from his mouth but the meaning from his heart.
He also has a way to use different instruments from a cellphone with a classic music instrument as a piano, if a true artist can create from anything and make it good thats an art itself.

Im going to say Ayumi Hamasaki, come on, how many people get to have their song put in a game? That opening theme for kingdom hearts was awesome . Oh and also that's the only person who could pop into my head because I don't listen to a lot of asian music.

I like Utada Hikaru, because her voice is so pretty. She also sings very well in English, even though her first language is Japanese. My favorite song by her is Hikari (Simple and Clean), which was the theme song for Kingdom Hearts.

I would have to say SAM HUI he has such a good melody in all of his songs! and the music behind the artist is great! the lyrics all have meaning to them where as some artists jsut sing about what ever pops into there head! He is also an older artist and i dont think he gets enough recognition!

I think he rocks!

I love the music - the guitar and drums are nicely combined. While they are still in their experimental stage, they still produce songs of quality and quantity. Their album cover art is always really cool and the vocalist is good also.

Theres this one song that i keep playing over and over and over again constantly...with no knowledge of the korean language or a vivid idea of whats going on..

The song is, "Please Tell me why" sung by Freestyle....

This song alone have made me his number 1 fan. The melody and the beat that goes with this song is so smooth, therefore i chose, "Freestyle" as one of my most favorite asian artist for the talent he showed in this song.
