Masih Belajar Nikmati Ketenaran

Si cantik Mariana Renata sekarang bisa bernapas lega. Dia telah
selesai proses syuting film pertamanya, Janji Joni. Saat ini, film
produksi Kalyana Shira Films itu sudah memasuki tahap akhir. Kemarin,
gadis kelahiran Paris, 31 Desember 1983, itu melakukan proses dubbing
film yang juga memasang Nicholas Saputra sebagai pemeran utama.

"Waktu syuting ternyata ada beberapa suara dari luar yang ikutan
masuk, jadi sound-nya nggak bagus. Makanya sama sutradara kami disuruh
untuk melakukan dubbing. Rencananya seluruh suara pemain akan diisi
dengan cara dubbing," terang si Bintang Lux tersebut.

Ditanya rasanya bisa menyelesaikan debut akting, Mar menjawab dengan
cepat, "Aduh, lega banget." Soal hasilnya nanti, pemeran karakter
bernama Deasy ini tak terlalu khawatir. "Ya ada sih rasa harap-harap
cemas, apakah aktingku bakal disuka atau tidak sama penonton. Tapi
deg-degannya masih kalau jauh dengan saat akan syuting dulu,"
tambahnya.

Hari pertama syuting, Mar memang sempat stres. Menurut Wisnu, manajer
yang mendampinginya, malam sebelum syuting putri tunggal pasangan
Andre dan Anita Kirana ini tidak bisa tidur dengan lelap. Paginya,
ketika akan berangkat ke lokasi, Mar sakit perut dan harus bolak-balik
ke kamar mandi.

Sikap nervous memang sudah menjadi ciri Mar ketika akan melakukan
sesuatu hal yang baru. Mar selalu takut tidak bisa memberikan hasil
yang sempurna.

"Dia itu orangnya perfeksionis. Itulah mengapa dia selalu nervous.
Menurut kami dia sudah tampil dengan sangat baik, menurut dia enggak.
Standar yang dia miliki memang tinggi," kata Wisnu tentang cewek yang
sempat tinggal enam tahun di Zimbabwe tersebut.

Di hari kedua syuting, Mar malah sempat menangis. Cewek yang mengaku
masih jomblo ini merasa aktingnya hari itu benar-benar buruk. "Saya
nggak tahu kenapa, tapi akting hari itu benar-benar terburuk selama
saya menjalani proses produksi film ini. Saya nggak bisa apa-apa,
makanya saya nangis aja," ceritanya.

Wisnu menambahkan, sebetulnya akting Mar saat itu tidak buruk. Meski
belum punya pengalaman main film, tapi sebelum syuting Mar sudah
menjalani proses reading (pembelajaran skenario, Red), latihan, dan
pelajaran akting dari Jajang C. Noer selama satu bulan. "Akting Mar
bagus kok. Ya dia nangis karena ngerasa nggak pede aja," ujar Wisnu.

Di lokasi syuting Mar ternyata juga sempat jadi "bahan pembicaraan."
Sikapnya yang pendiam membuat dia tak bisa cepat akrab dengan orang
lain. "Orang-orang sering nanya ke saya, Mar kok diam saja? Apa dia
sakit? Bete? Atau ada masalah? Tapi setelah mereka tahu kalau Mar
memang orangnya pendiam, ya mereka nggak nanya lagi," jelas Wisnu.

Selain lega, saat ini yang dirasakan Mar adalah "takut terkenal."
Bintang klip video Josh Groban yang berjudul She?s Out of My Life ini
memang merasa kurang nyaman dengan segala hal yang harus diterima
seorang selebriti.

"Rasanya nggak enak aja kalau harus jadi center of attention. Lagi
jalan, eh, diliatin dan dikerubutin orang. Bagi saya main film, jadi
model, atau jalan di catwalk itu tujuan utamanya ya nyari duit aja,"
cetusnya.

Untuk menghilangkan perasaan itu, Wisnu berkali-kali menasehati Mar
kalau keterkenalan itu merupakan satu paket yang harus diterimanya
seiring dengan keterlibatannya di dunia hiburan. "Sekarang sih dia
sudah mulai sadar. Meski sulit, saat ini dia sedang berusaha menikmati
rasanya dikenal banyak orang," pungkas Wisnu.

Baru Kenal Nico di Lokasi
Rasanya tak ada yang meragukan ketampanan aktor muda Nicholas Saputra.
Pemeran Rangga dalam film Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? ini banyak diidolakan
remaja. Tapi ternyata itu tak memberikan pengaruh apa-apa bagi Mariana
Renata, lawan main Nico dalam Janji Joni.

"Rasanya main sama Nico ya biasa saja. Saya nggak terlalu kebawa sama
image dia yang banyak diidolakan penggemar cewek," cerita Mar sambil
tertawa.

Tapi suka main sama Nico? "Ya, dia baik dan mau bantuin saya akting.
Kalau lebih dari itu nggak deh. Saya masih belum mikir ke soal pacar,"
jawabnya.

Wajar jika Mar tak begitu peduli. Gadis yang akan bertolak ke Paris
tanggal 1 Mei untuk menyelesaikan ujian di Universitas Sorbonne,
Paris, Prancis, ini memang tak tahu "latar belakang" Nico.

"Saya kenal dia ya di lokasi syuting ini. Saya nggak tahu sejarah
kariernya. Malah saya baru tahu aktingnya di Ada Apa dengan Cinta?
kurang lebih sebulan lalu lewat VCD," ceritanya.

Nice pix, heartshapedbox! I read in Hai mag that when she studied in French she had some troubles to mingling with others and they thought she was like a gig and laughed behind her back. Some of them even made fun of her because of her shyness. Poor girl! She was scared to go anywhere. She also said she didn’t speak to anyone  for 2 full days.

2 days without talking to anyone reminds me of me sometimes I have been in that situation.

Being shy also reminds me of well .......... me .
Well its great she is a success now ! Kids can be so mean sometimes !

its funny when she said (in article above) that she doesnt like to be the center of attention becoz of her fame
i mean, if only she was not famous, people would still pay attention to her
she is more gorgeous in real life than on tv and pics

Iyah sih masih .... sedikit , *deep down yah" tapi skarang ngak kaya dulu. You get better overtime i guess.

I remeber before i saw the lux ad when i was in indo and i thought, wonder who she is, probably just some model who would never be heard of or seen again ! didnt know she was this famous.

maybe the maturity of character and physic influences a lot

I remeber before i saw the lux ad when i was in indo and i thought, wonder who she is, probably just some model who would never be heard of or seen again ! didnt know she was this famous.

LUX ad really makes her famous, like what LUX did to Tamara several years ago. Before LUX, people wouldnt notice her although she was one of topmodel in fashion. Her manager told me that it was so difficult for Mar being LUX star. Public attention and LUX 'rules' almost made her regret in accepting LUX offering. But now, it seems that she tries hard to adapt with changes.
Btw where did you see her?

I didnt see her anywhere before that ... it was the first time i saw her. See most of the time when i go back to indo i just watch the TV and you see many attractive people on the adverts.

But because im used to the situation here were usually people who are on adverts are *usually* not famous elsewhere i just thought she was just another pretty face to be forgotten after the adverts were finished, i didnt realise she was also a model, star and actress.

some shy people even change to be more good looking
maybe the maturity of character and physic influences a lot

You can say that, definatly obvious here with Mariana Renata

1. Warner Indonesia contacted her model agency, AB Model
2. AB Model gave her name and Warner was agree (model LUX gitu lho )
3. AB Model contacted her manager and he said, "Wait until she come back from Paris"
4. Mar was in Jakarta and had been told abt the offers. Her 1st reaction was, "Who is Josh Groban?"
5. The shooting was done in the beginning of August in Anyer (i dunno by indonesian or foreigner)
6. She was depressed becoz she had to act sadly all day
7. The pics of her was edited along with Josh' pics
8. And jreng: She's out of my life video!
9. Ssttt, (honestly) she and her manager dont like the result
10. But at least, the video got good reaction from public

Wait for her next performance in the video of duet Indonesian male singer and group band. I dunno who, her manager said it would be a surprise
