Hello! I just moved here four months ago and I haven't been able to find a place that's "happening" where I can go dance, drink, and/or eat at yet. I have been itching to hit up a club and dance my booty off!!! Can someone help me out? It'd be much appreciated.

QUOTE (Ben @ Jan 10 2006, 01:47 AM) Moved to NY? from where? Which part of NY are you from? It depends on what kind of scene that you like? Like Asian food? I know NYC inside out lol A good pho place wouldn't hurt. I've had some NYC pho, but it hasn't been the "best" ya know? I need fun, but cheap places. Anything goes: musuems, cultural stuff, music, blah blah blah...anything! But I do have a tendency to lean towards the clubbing scene. Oh yeah, I'm a total suburbanite from out west...and enjoying the big city life...for now. This post has been edited by Click_Me: Jan 10 2006, 06:13 AM |

If you are in Queens then you need to go to Elmhurst for a good pho restaurant. Lots of good Vietnamese restaurants out in Elmhurst. I personally like this new Vietnamese restaurant in Grand Ave. I'm not sure about the name of the place but I think it's called Little Saigon or something like that. All I know it is next to an Indian Chinese restaurant called Chopstick.
I like to hang out around downtown Soho area. Lots of bars & lounges out there. When I just want to sit & talk with friends, I usually hit up this place called Bar 89 on Mercer street, less than 5 minutes walking from Broadway. |

Old school chinese food?
Chinatown is the place be at. Anything you want will be everywhere. Ask for Wing Wong, and Dai(Big) Wong in chinatown. Everyone know where it is |
