Oh man, it's been awhile. Graduated from undergraduate 3 years ago and now I'm in the process of getting my MA in about a month. Time sure flies haha.

Wow it's been ages...
I remember I just started university when I was last active on this site. Think that was 2007-2008. Finished my degree, fell in love, went to work and live in Beijing for a year (so freaking awesome!), fell out of love, did more travelling, came back home and got a job, applied for Masters, and now I'm just working and waiting to get my application approved soon! |

Ever since the spam, there is no one here anymore. It's sad.
I finished college. Now doing a PhD in CS, while doing software jobs on the side. Have been getting into the startup scene, but haven't managed to achieve anything significant. |

I ended up working a few years in the banking industry. I made a big change into the social work field...
So yeh. I dunno if any of yall remembered... But I was pretty militant and vocal about the rights of majorities (aka minorities) and also race/ethnic studies. This is how I'm fulfilling that side of my life. So yep. Thats what the Urbanpoet is doing. Damn. This place is so dead. Seems like it died out YEARS ago... Couldn't find a job with my college degree, and I got medically disqualified for military service last November so I enrolled in an EMT program (community college) last January. About to finish that in a week so hopefully I'll be riding in the back of ambulances pretty soon.
This place is definitely dead, but it seems there's some active postings on certain parts of the forum (mostly serious nationalistic military discussion though). Oh well, I spend most of my time on Url Ban (s o o m p i) anyways, which is unfortunately slow/dying as well. I've been thinking about graduate school too, but don't know how to pay the tuition and a master's seems like the new bachelor's these days. Also, I'm tired of academics and just wanna work and make money.
