Chinese Wedding Traditions, Question

My fiancee is pregnant and we are getting married. We are both Chinese but I am Americanized and don't know how much about tradition and superstition.

I hear it's bad luck for her to attend weddings. But is it bad luck if I attend a wedding? A close friend of mine is having a wedding the weekend before mine and it's a day before my engagement.

i can speak for volume but as far as i know,

traditions are weak in contemporary china, you should be ok
