Khmers, do you like Chinese? Options

I know you guys hate Thais and Viets. I am Vietnamese. That said, what is your view of the Chinese?

yes. Khmer had a hard history, chinese has been nothing but helpful. Same with the japanese

but generally i never had problem chinese people when i meet one.

my cousin's best friends is viet. khmer realations with viets is very black and white i find. when they don't get along, they really hate eachother. but when they do they treat each other like family

In my real life, I don't see a slightest hate of Khmers from the Vietnamese. Why is this misconception being taught to Cambodians? Vietnamese may have some sterotypes for the Cambodians, and I think it's part of human nature to be xenophobic. More contacts between two people will erase all that.
It's very wrong that Cambodians think that if they hate the Viets they must hate the Khmers too. That's only a Thai-Khmer thing. You may hate Viets, but why must we hate you ?

Look at what our government is doing to their government now. We would have been mad if we were them too. I find the tone of your posts a bit annoying because you always act like we're their victim of hatred. If you want them to not hate us then we have to be nice to them first, consider what our ancestors did to them, now it's only on our part to atone it. But instead, lots of Vietnamese do hate Khmers simply because they found that Khmers hate them. Hatred goes back and forth. Don't talk like we're saints.

I hold nothing against Viets. The past is the past and I hope our differences can be put aside so that we can move to a brighter future. Maybe I'm just saying that because I've been in a relationship with a couple Viet girls. Lol. Honestly, it's better that we can get along.

I have a couple of Thai friends whom are brown skins and we get along fine. I also dated a few of them too. But for some reason the light skin Thais that i have encounter don't seem to like me very much. I don't know if that's because I'm Khmer with brown skin or because I've dated some of their women, but they sure don't like me for some reason. Haha.

I'm Khmer and part Chinese , so I like Chinese People and I don't hate them.
I think there is no reason to hate Vietnamese.
Yes its sad for us Khmer People that Khampuchea Krom is belonged to Vietnam but that is History
and w don't can change it. So I need to accept it

But for me it is not a reason to hate Vietnamese for their occupation of Khampuchea Krom.

Okay let me tell you.. Why we do hate you so much why so many Vietnamese find Cambodia is safe for them.. A lot Vietnamese live in Cambodia and doing their business.... You will find Cambodian like you more.. when you guys make sure that Khmer Krom is Safe... and Vietnamese's government fulfil and respect their nature of life..
And as well, Vietnamese's government must be respect Cambodia's territory.. and converting border as the Business exchange with Cambodia like we already done it... But I do agreed that Khmer people never truth Viet about the territory issue!

You need to blame your master French to remove the big chunk of Khmer Krom and Koh Tral from Khmerland, but You got Preah Vihear from Siam. I think it should be ok.

XG, I thought you wouldn't find me here. C'mon, do we really hate Cambodians? I totally understand why they hate us, and it's okay if they do because they want their land back. I was only trying to correct the misconception that the hate is reciprocal. It would be wrong to make that statement because we don't have the same hate-hate as in Khmer-Thai situation. There might be some Viets who dislike Cambodians, but not hate like "I will shoot everyone of you who crosses into my border to chop down a tree."

Siem Reap, Battambong, Sri Sophon, Champasak (southern Laos) were part of Siam. Pra Vihara is on those region. Why did it never belong to Siam? LOL Dumbass, please don't lie to the world. I think it's Karma that you lost those huge chunk of land and get the tiny prasat on Thailand border.

The map I show above was drawn by the colonists themselves before they made a new map in 18th century to claim more land which include Nakorn Wat and Pra Viharn.

Save this map and show it to Khmer monkeys whenever they say those land belong to them.
