The front end is nice. The back looks too round and droopy.

Their designs are improving... but the back is freaking hideous... reminds me of some Accord sedan put together with an ugly Buick or something...

I like the new sonata better.
Hyundai cars are darn good nowadays, chung's quality improvement management working and all, hyundai is being very competent. Was wondering, do they still have that foreign cars tariff in korea? I think they might have discarded that by now, cuz that's solely responsible for the $hittiness of korean car making. If not, the improvement in quality is probably due to globalized competition and the increase in auto imports in korea. Down with tariffs! |

QUOTE (VietPunk @ May 25 2005, 04:51 PM) the early 1990's are over, its 2005, hyundais are very respectable cars, if you dont know what you're talking about its best not to say anything. Hyundai has already past the cheaply made cheaply sold stage and has moved up in standards since then, I'm glad they're starting to look as good on the outside as they are on the inside, the classy European / Japanese look was a good way to go. On another note, I like how when I watch Korean movies, they're always driving around Korean cars, no matter what. It shows a lot of pride in there Country and I think thats neat and all, when these get around to be on road and on screen, Korea will look like an even more technologically advanced and rich country than it is now to the world, old stereotypes are dying. |

vietpunk you shut the fu-k up, you're the one who doesn't know $hit. i don't give a fu-k how much you "know" your damn cars, you don't know damn about hyundai management and what it achieved.
The fact is, hyundai is no longer $hitty, period. Audi used to be fu-kin $hitty, but with good management, they're back on track, and now are competing with beamers. Hyundai can compete with any j@p auto maker in sedans. if you're ignorant, then just keep your mouth shut, VietPuss. This post has been edited by hi-head: May 29 2005, 12:28 AM |

Guys, don't even bother VietPunkb!tch. It's always funny reading the trolls come into a thread troll around because they have emotional issues.
As for the car... it looks pretty good, though the design of the back is a little unsettling. I wouldn't mind driving one. |

yeah VietPuss, i reported your @$$ too. And just to make my position clear here, i'm not attacking you because of nationalism or defending compatriots, i'm merely responding to a complete idiotic remark of ignorance. I don't need to feel offended by some stupid viet who about cars made by a korean company, cuz viets cant even make cars, unless you count river boats. So go back to your jungles now.
