Asian men who hate Asian women are truly pathetic because they don't even realize its the same as hating themself. By worshipping white women the Asian man is indirectly worshiping the white man because his genes created the white woman. What Asian men and women need to realize is that we are linked by blood, NOTHING can change that. For all eternity, we will be bind by our genes. The Asian women can run from this fact, but deep down she knows the truth that she will always belong to the Asian man because he is the reason for her existence. In a traditional society, these Asian women who betrayed their people would be killed. I'm not saying thats what should be done, Im just pointing out how serious our ancestors considered this crime. But these stupid Asian women starry eyed for white people don't even realize this.

Its time for the Asian man to rise up, reclaim what is his, and fight anyone who resists. Asian women in the West, come back to us, come back to your people.

Hail victory.

Sad but true. There are Asians who hate or dislike other Asians because they think their culture/ethnicity is superior to other Asians culture/ethnicity, which is both ignorant and arrogant imo.

I'm just seeing the world as it is, survival of the fittest. I'd rather be strong than be a white-worshiping pushover like you.

Hail victory.

Asian woman needs to realize that no matter what she does, she will never be white. She can run, she can hide, but when she stares in the mirror she will always see an Asian woman. You can't keep running away from Asian man forever, we are here, waiting for you to come back to your senses and return.

Well apparently my mother was a woman who obviously preferred a "white" man because im clearly mixed , so does that mean my mother should be killed for "betraying her people"? And if women belong to men then in your chauvinistic opinion, who would i belong to being that i am of BOTH races hmmmmmm?

If I marry a white, or a black, or a Polynesian, or an Inuit... does it mean I am ashamed of being an Asian female? Not at all. If anything, it is always on my mind to introduce him to my Asian culture. I take great pride in being Asian, but I recognise the beauty of other cultures as well. And I'd like my children to have the privilege of being a part of two cultures. And why the insecurity? Tons of Asian women marry Asian men, it's a minority that marry non-Asians by the way. If Asian men marry white women, should we Asian women say "come back to us Asian women etc etc"? It's up to you whom you want to marry, as long as you're happy with that person. I don't mind Asian men marrying white women. A number of my friends who are a product of mixed marriages take pride in their Asian heritage. So what's wrong here?

And yea, I find Asian males equally attractive as well. Now it's just a matter of marrying the one whose personality I click with. I think it's about time we stop generalising the mind of the Asian woman... this issue is far more intricate than we think.

Well what I had in mind when I typed that is 'best of both worlds' - West and East; you get to have both Western and Asian heritage. Especially if you marry someone from say, Germany, Slovakia, Greece, Lithuania, Niger, Mali, Peru or etc where their traditional/folk identity is still very much alive (compared to a regular American from NY for example). You get a deeper insight and first-hand experience into how a non-Asian family operates, their outlook, mentality, etc... I am a product of three Asian ethnicities myself and I don't think I would want it any other way. Personally at least, I find it intriguing; this multicultural identity.

let assume you're an islamic/muslim person and you marry a anglo white american who celebrate the birth of jesus christ, but in your culture, it is against it. in that case, what would you do? obviously if you don't celebrate xmas, then the other significant other family would be offended. lol

Is that better than being born into one culture then later experiencing some other cultures?
Okay, I guess your point is you get to look at two of them firsthand. But do you think you get the full scope of both cultures?
How do you pass your multicultural identity onto your children, or is that besides the point?

Haha well actually you can join in the Christmas celebrations - exchanging gifts, singing well-known carols, Christmas dinners, visit your Christian relatives, etc... except going to church. I don't know, but that is how it's done in my family - or in Malaysia at least. My Muslim relatives have even attended a Christian funeral in a church, and I've attended a Muslim wake for a relative that passed away. Here religious festivals (Aidilfitri/Eid ul-Fitr, Thaipusam, Deepavali, Christmas) are a merry time for Malaysians regardless of beliefs. : )

Well it doesn't mean I'll automatically get the full scope of both cultures, although I'd/my children would probably be more thoroughly acquainted from a young age. It really depends on how far you 'immerse' yourself in the experience, whether you were born multicultural or not. Also just mixing with your family members wouldn't enable you to grasp the 'full scope' of that culture, you'd need to go beyond that, mixing with other people from the community. Having said that, I wouldn't say it's better than being born into one culture per se, it's just that being born multicultural gives you that 'automatic' entrance into a more intimate encounter with said cultures.

What my parents did was that we had quite a number of traditional items around in the house... especially those from my father's side. My aunts were experts with beads and my uncles were good in carving, and as children they'd give us traditional headdresses, sun hats and costumes (us girls) while my brother got himself a traditional headgear and machete complete with its beautifully done sheath. My parents also made sure we had ethnic names in addition to our Western ones; it's kinda like a family tradition. Even my cousins who married Chinese men gave their kids ethnic middle names. We are also very close to relatives from both sides so my parents made sure we knew our 'roots'.

I notice my half-white friends also get to appreciate their Asian heritage this way... by acquainting them to this part of their identity from a very young age and having something to remind you of it in the house. One of my half-white friends even has a completely ethnic name - he doesn't have an Anglo name at all (his mum is British).

@yana: Phewitt! Is he Malaysian too? Or? Congrats... dah maju Cik Yana ni embarassedlaugh.gif beerchug.gif

Of course, as long as hes part of our race and not mixed with white or black its fine. Looks like your parents raised you right, unlike most asian women these days.

Hail victory.
