Finally starting. Hopefully we can find some real talents this year.

It's funny cause when I first saw him as an MC on the show Sao Online He remined me of Ryan Seacrest and thought it'd be funny if he hosted Vietnam Idol. Now it actually happened. Her singing kindda sucks though Danangers pretty much know each other, lol. It's a small city. It's only 800000 to 900000 people. Crazy how mornings feel so empty but night is freaking crowded. Her singing style is too old for her and doesn't fit her. Sounds like she's trying to sing like siu black. She looks all lively then when she sings it feels so boring. |

I'm actually surpised that Danang population is not even 1 million. Danang has the highest urbanisation ratio in Vietnam. Its population growth is only 1% comparing the Vietnam growth of 2%. Look at Hai Phong for example, its population is 1.8 mil, 1.1 mil lives in the rural area. That's why Danang is considered the third biggest city in Vietnam.
It's actually a policy of Danang: to keep the population low. By doing this it would increase the GDP per capita of the city. The reason night is crowded is Danangers like to nhậu. If you notice, there are so many restaurants, coffee shops comparing to its population. The ratio is actually the highest in Vietnam |

Don't even mention the coffee shops here, it makes me so sick of seeing the same boring starbucks around every corner over here. |

Watching this danang chick again, I actually think she's pretty good.
I guess she's just trying to show her vocal range by choosing a hard song. It'd be better when she sings a commercial song |

Last Vietnam idol was a big let down. |

I so hope Phuong Vy produces some good music this year so we can send her to Asian Song Festival.
Phuong Vy is a very technical singer. In terms of vocal, she outclasses many viet singers atm. I'm quite surprised she's underachieved so far |

Vietnam Idol this year has been very good comparing to the last 2 years. I've enjoyed it so far
