One factor is diet, you might not be getting the essential vitamins and minerals you need for your immune system to function at its best. Go to your doctor and they'll tell you what nutrients you should get to get your immune system working properly again.
The only time I get sick nowadays is through food poisoning. AHHH, SOUTH PARK KENNY'S EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA is coming back to haunt me!!! This post has been edited by SacOfMentos: Feb 23 2006, 03:58 PM |

There is a thing call "Airborne" formula at walgreens or at your local drug store. I use to get sick alot. Very bad immune system or too many sick people at the office.
At the first sign of a cold or before going into a crowded environment where you know you will catch someones cold, pop one of tablets in water, let it dissolve and drink up. Has a lot of vitamins a,c,e, riboflavin, magnesium, selenium, manganese, potassim, herbal extracts, amino acids and alot of other good crap. Personnal, I don't get as sick as I used too. Same environment, same people. They still get sick and I don't. Which sucks because I stilll have to go to work. So I guess it has it's good and bad points. |

Yea I got a weak immune system as well, I get like colds once a week or so.. not serious ones just couple sneezes.
I've been doing alot of running on my treadmill and trying to toughen up my immune system, and lose some weight. |

lol, just try and eat healthy, and get enough sleep, that should be enough, flu shots are for 60+ people imo.

However, some studies has shown that "Airborne" is not good for you; it is simply a big overdose of vitamins. I wouldn't take it. If you want to prevent colds, take ECHINACEA and GOLDENSEAL supplements...they're natural flowers/herbs...you can find it @ local pharmacies. |

I'm prone to getting nose bleeds too. Many time I just swallow the blood, after all there are proteins in it.

Its like what everyone posted here you have have a weak Immune system. To fix that is you have to take vitamins but first go to specialist that knows about the body immunities...your doctor will only do so little and just give you a prescription...I recommend you visit a local GNC shop and ask questions..those people are not just employees...they are trained specialist too...its where i go and asked a questions about my problems when i got sick so quickly. They told me to take Tiens : Immune System dietary supplements...so far it works. but do ask them questions for your symptoms...they can really help you on deciding what to get to make you better ^_^.
here is the site for Tiens so you can do some research on the product i am using ^_^ http://portal.tiens.com/portal/page?_pagei...&_schema=PORTAL This post has been edited by Bunsopook: Feb 25 2006, 05:39 AM |
