What is the main language of Singaporeans. The one they use for home and casual talk.

Is it English, Chinese Mandarin, Chinese Hokkien, or Malay?

Well....Its English....but with a local slang and twist to it whcih then becomes Singlish...which is a mix of chinese, malay, some indian.....
Chinese Mandarin is often used among the Chinese...but I know with my friends....when their at home..their parents tend to talk in their dialect: Cantonese, teochew, hokkien...
For the Malays, when at home..its singlish/english and malay thats spoken.
The Indians...it's mostl Tamil...but there's also Punjabi, Hindi, urdu....

got it?!

I am proud of our singlish or manglish or whatever you call it. Most Singaporean and Malaysian are multi lingual....at least we know 2 language. When comfronted with foreigner or if in meetings where we need to pass the secret code....we juz hantam the other language that foreigner dunno......then they will become blur c@ck sotong embarassedlaugh.gif

I will say that it is a natural to know from the moment that a singaporean speaks and it take another singaporean to point that out immediately which the other party will say something like "hey, you also from singapore ? sama sama - didnt know that here can find kaki too, steady leh !"
