I have this freaking problem with hair gel! It seems to flake like dust after it dries
 Makes my hair look like snow! And no it's not dandruff. So which gels have you had good luck with?

My friend uses wax and his hair looks really nice! I'm not too sure can wax be used to spike (if that's what you intend to do). Wax looks so kool, I feel like buying some...

go with fruity gels, they don't flake
I use other stuff too but gel has its benifits, i dont need to wash+blowdry... |

Men you guys no nothing. Gel dont make ur hair flake, well at least the gels that i use never make my hair flake. I am currently using Crew. Very good gel. It doesnt make your hair flake it simples just dies out an leave your hair back to normal without flake and Crew make your hair smell pretty dam good to. I try alot of gel but i gotta say Crew one of the best you should try it out

if you go to black or "ethnic" beauty stores (like sally's) there's a gel called PROCLAIM. comes in a clear jar with a green lid and costs about $5. Theres no alchohol in it and it has aloe vera in it, so it makes your hair soft, it holds well, you can restyle it and it doesn't flake.
i live by that stuff when i leave my hair curly |
