I love it. Its very beautiful, creative, and elegant. I think they should add some red to it though. Red and yellow is a better contrast than yellow and pink IMO. It will bring out each other more.

she is very pretty and feminine looking, so she can wear pink very well. Dark skin girls and girls who dont look very feminine they have a hard time wearing pink.
Also on stage, from far away more pink will highlight her costume better. too much yellow and red makes her look like one of those monks who wear yellow and red in chinese movies

^^ I don't think red and yellow in an ao dai would make her look like a monk at all. Red and yellow is the color of the Vietnamese flag, so not only would it look beautiful but it would have meaning. If she was asked why she chose the particular ao dai she could say...the color symbolizes our flag. Red for our blood..yellow for our skin.
I really do think the style of the ao dai she has on is unique and very creative. It is much better than this Miss Vietnam's ao dai, whoever she is:  |
