I had no idea that losing such little amounts of weight could really affect the way that a person looks... But recently I saw that this was true. I saw a picture of someone before and after (exercise) and they looked totally different! Not just in the way they appeared, their mannerisms, but facially.
It was like a complete transformation. On a rating scale, they'd move one point up! Man.... who knew diet and exercise could do so much. |

I'd say losing weight is only part of it. When ppl THINK they look better they start to act more confident and actually do start to look better.

Okay this kinda fit my description.
I did lose about 10pound since last month. I look better not only becasue i lose some weight, but because i also gain muscle while burning fat as well. Not to mention my belly don't stick out at all even after a big dinner now. |

I don't think it's for everyone.
During school time, I did a lot of sports and didn't have time to eat much, so I would lose ten pounds in a week, and gain it back the next week deciding to eat more, then lose some more and gain some more. No BS-- My grade 10 weight was a yoyo. Except my friends couldn't tell. |

For a person to be overweight..and when they lost some pounds they have more of that "Yay, I'm happy with how I look" feeling..

There are lots of health and beauty magazines that can show you how a person transformed before and after losing weight. Based on my experience, there was a time that i gained 10lbs and bloated. Its so disgusting when i looked at myself in front of the mirror... I looked older than my real age. Im thankful, that i able to make myself fit again... too much of an effort. And yes, exercise is the best way to lose or gain weight. |
