I don't see any thread for Chinese Pop Music or Good Movies, which is a travesty as we have some outstanding artists, and there are three distinctive pop culture markets, PRC, HK and Taiwan, some of which do not cross over,...pity. I'll start by posting one of my current favorites, Jam Hsiao, 蕭敬騰, a Taiwanese even though I'm not too into traditional rock. He's small in stature but he has a great deep voice that sounds much bigger, I just *LOVE* his voice :

If you guys are interested in a Pulp Fiction type absurd HK gangster movie, my favorite is Too Many Ways to be No. 1. It is hilariously pathetic, smashes a lot of stereotypes and I suspect shows a truer picture of the mobster's less-than-glamorous life. The first half is better than the second, imo. Lau Ching Wan is simply a gem of an actor, and this is one of his best roles. I think this ranks as one of the best movies from Hong Kong ever.

徐佳瑩，she became famous in the same show as 蕭敬騰，she is a great singer and wrote <身騎白馬> which I think is one of the best songs of 2010.

Do you know this super cool Tomboy Zhang Yun Jing? She really looks like a very cool boy, so unexpected and different. I love how she REALLY PLAYS & SINGS, a lot of substance, not the usual made-up Doll.
