![]() ![]() ![]() I'll put it like this for you. She looks Vietnamese in some pics, but in many pics she looks Latina perhaps due to the makeup style. |

it is funny how some viet here has a screw idea on how viet are suppose to look like thinking that girls that look like is actually viet looking ![]() ![]() sorry to break it to u but hoang my looks more viet than those girls above ............ those girls above are so east asian looking if you did not tell me they are viet i would have guess Northern chinese or korean or something close to there The first girl is Nguyen Nam Thuong. Why do u think she look Chinese? ![]() ![]() ![]() The Ngoc Tram's picture may has been photoshopped, who know. That why I said Hanoi girl - Ngoc Tram [img]http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144/_vance_/263982_233232483363517_114216468598453_896850_3940810_n.jpghttp://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144/_vance_/229259_210930485594774_132679153419908_630211_4090112_n.jpghttp://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144/_vance_/271165_233280353358730_114216468598453_897079_7115029_n.jpghttp://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144/_vance_/218409_205873422767147_132679153419908_596167_3907426_o.jpghttp://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144/_vance_/244152_210934615594361_132679153419908_630223_285980_o.jpghttp://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144/_vance_/244010_210930898928066_132679153419908_630215_1672051_o.jpghttp://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144/_vance_/209404_205872969433859_132679153419908_596157_6346034_o.jpghttp://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144/_vance_/201335_205873049433851_132679153419908_596159_6063277_o.jpghttp://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq144/_vance_/219223_205873126100510_132679153419908_596161_6252620_o.jpg() The first girl from the right ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The second girl from the right ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is what I consider East Asian looking, although she is 100% Viet ![]() And why do u use Hoang My as a standard to judge Viet look? I used to live in Hanoi, have never been to the south and I rarely see girls with that look there. |

don't mind miss tav6, she has her taste.
Vietnames can have fox eyes which is incridible cute, while chinese only have worm-eyes or string eyes. That is the biggest different! |

who said she looks like latina but u ?? u even made a big deal about how she looks fake latina in the other thread ........... and if you said that there are many people in vietnam that looks like hoang my then why do u keep on referring to hoang my looks as "latina" looking and not viet ? LOL maybe they mean she doesn't look typical viet Tav I doubt that look is as common as the small eyed look common in Vietnam |

Well let's not start this whole Chinese - Vietnamese $hit again.
Do you know what? There are lots of Chinese students studying at my university right now, about a few hundreds, and despite all the differences that people here impose on, you can't tell the difference between a Chinese student and a Vietnamese student here, judging by face along, even native Vietnamese can't tell and the Chinese students here can't tell themselves. I'm not sure where they're from but they all speak Mandarin, I haven't heard one speaking Cantonese, but let's give the benefit of the doubt that they're from somewhere in Southern China. People all stereotype Chinese got smaller eyes, higher nose bridge, and such, but I don't see such differences here, perhaps because variation within each population is much bigger than variation between the populations. You can say that Chinese students in general got harsher looks, but that's subjective and not really reliable. The only way to tell is the way they dress...Vietnamese students almost always wear long pants or knee-covering skirts and Chinese students wear skirts that reveal their legs more, but even that is not always reliable, because outside the school environment, especially at night, the Viet girls wear short skirts as well. But then, you can kinda rely on that distinction because there's barely any Chinese outside this university environment (most of them don't go far from university for they're not clear on direction, they can't ride motorbikes, and don't know how to take the bus, they either walk near distance or take taxi). |

In my opinion, when the girls here put on makeup and dye their hair, they tend to look like that. When not in makeup, they look like this ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry got to cut out myself because I don't want to be recognized on the streets while wearing one of my favorite shirts

There are always "outliers" in every places. Truth is Hoang My's look is quite rare in Hanoi, if I don't want to say I haven't seen any...but she's still Viet and that's all it matters. You shouldn't make a big deal because of one comment. If you want to verify, just come to Hanoi and see.
Let alone Hanoi, even in Saigon, I wouldn't say her look is the "majority" even though I've seen a number of people with Hoang My's look in Saigon. |

I can't even tell the difference between north or south Vietnamese other than the way they talk. I think northern people might be a bit lighter and probably dress up a bit better, but that's about it. Saigon or Hanoi, all look the same to me.
