I've got a cast for my broken arm and whenever i get it wet i have to get a blow dryer to dry it off or it will stink...but neway i was using it one time after a shower and decided to just blow dry my hair. I thought it looked pretty good, but i heard blow drying ur hair damages ur hair so is tat true? cuz im deathly afraid of going bald.

Blow-drying damages hair, causing dryness and split-ends due to the close contact between the heat on the scalp and hair. The next time you blow dry your hair, face the dryer downwards, use a leave-on conditioner for protection and avoid long exposure of both scalp and hair to the strong heat.
For more protection, use Ionic hairdryer, Example: Sephora: ![]() Ionic Hair Dryer delivers maximum negative ions and infrared heat. This means lightning fast drying and healthier, shinier, deeply moisturized hair. An entirely new approach to blow drying, the T3 guarantees frizz-free results every time. Other benefits include: -Breaks down water for deep moisture penetration -Smoothes hair surface for silky-smooth shine -Eliminates static -Delivers heat gently to the hair shaft, drying the hair from the inside out -Closes the cuticle layer to protect the hair Sharper Image: Our Ionic Conditioning® Quiet Hair Dryer uses patent-pending technology to bathe hair shafts in millions of positively charged ions that condition hair by smoothing its protective cuticle layer, making hair look and feel soft, smooth, shiny |

when you blowdry, turn the heat level to the lowest setting. keep the dryer at least 6 inches away from your head too. also, use some leave-in hair sprays and stuff that prevent heat damage (check on the bottle to make sure)

the combo is crap, buy the separate one.
You should put the conditioner on the end part of your hair, not the whole hair, If you put it on your whole head, it will make your hair thin and flat. |

You guys should use heat protection sprays or a similar product. I picked up L'oreal Thermo-volumising mousse
![]() QUOTE Thermo-volumizing mousse Long lasting volumized style Protects your hair Studio Line from L'Oréal Paris has invented the first thermo-volumizing mousse specially designed to work with heat-styling appliances. Its exclusive Thermo-Protect technology protects your hair, amplifies the volume created by heat and maintains your style all day. Non-greasy and non-sticky, the formula gives body, softness and radiance. I think it's pretty good, and it's cheap too. And an ionic hairdryer is definately good |
