AKB48 member Miho Miyazaki is a B1A4 fangirl

Rookie idol group B1A4 recently held a fan signing event in Seoul on the afternoon of July 9th and has been receiving interest from a famous Japanese pop idol star.

B1A4 has been receiving attention after a member of Japan’s top girl group,Miho Miyazaki of AKB48 Team B recently tweeted about B1A4.

Miho Miyazaki posted on her Twitter, “I received the CD of a Korean group named B1A4. Check it out! Their songs give you some kind of strength.” She also attached a picture of herself and the CD to the tweet, revealing her interest in B1A4.

As B1A4 has been receiving international interest even before their debut, their overseas popularity has been growing. Now that they’ve received interest from a Japanese idol now, their expansion into the global market seems prime for action.

A representative of B1A4’s management stated, “The members are very surprised and intrigued that a top Japanese girl group has shown interest in them. We’re very thankful for the international fans that continue to show interest and we will work hard to show endless growth as a group”.

In related news, B1A4’s members Baro and Sandeul recently appeared as guests on MBC’s “Quiz to Change the World” .

Trot never dies! Even if they don't show up on TV, they are busy singing on all kinds of live stages all over the country. This is the main source of their income. When a certain retro fad becomes strong, TV wants it back. It comes and goes. In fact, Jang Yoon Jung and Park Hyun Bin were the singers who brought trot back to younger audience.

You don't need to be old to appreciate old style songs. There are also some Korean golden oldie fan clubs organized by young people in Korea. I don't think they are weird. They are unique.

Some trot singers are still very popular in Korea. The concerts by top trot singers such as 조용필, 심수봉, and 나훈아 are almost always jam packed. Not all the audiences are Ajumma. There are many Ajushi fans and some odd young admirers, too.

This is a very sweet song. Its original singer is supposed to be Hwang Jung Mi or BJJ? I don't know. This video shows part of the reasons why Taeyeon aka Taengoo is very popular in the Korean pop idol world. Despite her appearance, the way she talks is quite older-woman-like.
