Wouldn't that mean that Asians would have a high birth rate in America, where they are marrying white guys? But they don't, Asians GIRLS have the lowest birth rate in America. Not much higher than back in Asia.

I think it has to do with:
1. Cost of raising in children, expensive in most Asian countries.
2. Amount of time and investment most Asian cultures put into children.

It's a bit of a shame to me but I must admit back home in Nigeria people have way to may kids and don't invest enough in them. It seems to me east asians are on the other end of the spectrum. Its like a different strategy of reproducing, you know?

NIGERIA: Lets have six kids baby one of them will make plenty kudi (money) in sports or movie an we can retire well.
TAIWAN: Lets have one kid, make him study really hard and do well so he can be a scientist.

Its like quantity vs. quality as they say here in America.

EDIT: Even In Nigeria, the Chinese I know, usually only have one or two kids, when their neighbor has 10. I think its something to do with culture not white guys.

Yeah, totally agree, but I do think Nigeria should look to Chinese or Western standards for raising children, which is gradually happening with a lower birth rate and more investment in education. It is better suited to the modern world.

In Nigeria, my ancestors mostly didn't farm, and when they did, the food does not keep very well anyway... most anything spoils in Nigeria when left outside for even a week, even when burried. Not much sense in a long term plan. But Chinese for thousands of years had to carefully harvest rice and then save some for the next year, always thinking of the future. Eventually cultures change I hope as people learn better strategies. Do you think so?

Yes, living things always have to adapt to changing environments. Each of the races definitely could improve on itself.
- Asians should be willing to take more risks.
- Blacks should think more about the future when making decisions.

i have a hunch that white men-asian women are more fertile. whever i see a WM-AW couples they have at least two children. but with AM-AW it's always one or none at all. this is just from my personal observations. i guess white men like to have more sex and impregnate more.

btw, i think africa having high birthrate is good (for now). that way u can flood in on europe and breed them out. hopefully they will stay multicultural and socialist for several more decades. but the muslims are shortening the lifespan of this beautiful system...

I have heard this same theory from someone else. Anyway, it could be that Asians are more risk adverse than other races. Since Asians are obsessed with the future of their kids, they become too cautious to make too many kids. The white man, being more willing to take risks, pressures his Asian wife to make more kids.

The fear of risk taking is why our race is starting to disappear. If Asian couples are ready to be parents, they should aim for at least three children. Not everyone needs a Ph.D in science/engineering BTW.

It's not necessary an issue of sexuality because the couple could just use birth control.

Asians only make a lot of kids if they live a life of subsistence agriculture. In an industrialized or nomadic society, Asians make so few kids that they may as well be impotent.

If a community had 100 Asian couples and 100 African couples, it won't be long before the community becomes 99% African.

i've always been a strong critic of the one-child policy. it's the stupidest thing that the prc has ever done. but, naturally the idea was diabolically instilled by a westerner, so i will spare the chinese government of the full measure of my fury and disappointment.
