Wonderful Days has a great cinematography (cel animated characters + miniatures rendered like CGI + full 3D CGI for fast-moving objects) but its plot is weak. According to the release information on Wikipedia, I don't think there is a US blu-ray version.
I find Aachi & Ssipak much more fun. You can watch it here. |

Wonderful Days was a bit boring for me. I watched Aachi & Ssipak again. Damn, they swear a lot lol I like the fight scenes where Agent Geko owns diaper gangs.

I think Korean animation is technically not that bad, but there are many cases that its scenario is bad.
But the thing that i most dislike is using movie actor not professional voice actor! Duh~.. that awfully debase the quality of the animation! But i heard that most big and fundamental problem of Korean Ani is production environment. Korean animation production skill is pretty high level, but production conditions or institutional infra is really bad because of some main reasons such as people's deficient awareness of the importance of animation industy or very poor investment environment. As you all know, animation industry is important one that can make many added value such as character industry. (Pororo) i guess Pororo is the most popular Korean animation among the children all over the world? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reIYcIzPgWg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jl87fLaDgbk

Pororo is quite popular here... but I'm not sure about the 'most popular all over the world' bit. I really dislike its English dubbing, actually... sounds awkward. Much more fluid in Korean. For Korean TV animations, I prefer Debo the Gift Dragon.

I heard that Pororo is pretty popular among the children in many countries from media. so, it's hard for me to say the Korean animation that's more popular than Pororo in the world. (my Eng and vocabulary is very poor, sorry) Btw, 'Debo the Gift Dragon'? do you know the Korean title of that? |

I'm guessing, 디보, but I've never really thought about it. I'll have to pay attention the next time I see it. Truth be told, I usually see the English version on tv...rarely the Korean one (it's aimed towards kids a year or so older than the Pororo audience).
