[2002][MV] Cherry Filter "내게로 와" (Come to me)
[2002][MV] Cherry Filter "낭만고양이" (Romantic Cat) (This song was a big hit.)
[2003][MV] Cherry Filter "오리 날다" (Duck flies)
[2006][Live] Cherry Filter "유쾌한 마녀" (Jolly witch)
[2009][MV] Cherry Filter "Pianissimo" (This is my favorite!)

Since there are people wondering about the hard music in Korea, I'm posting some. I'm not so much into this but I know there are many metal bands in Korean indie such as Crash, Mahatma, Black Hole, Sinawe, Diablo, The Crescents and so on. Crash might be one of the better-known metal bands in Korea. They formed in 1989 and do thrash metal. This is from their most recent album.

[2010][MV] Crash "Crashday"

For punk rock, Crying Nut and No Brain are popular.

[1998][MV] Crying Nut "말달리자" (Let's ride a horse)
[1999][MV] Crying Nut "서커스 매직 유랑단" (Circus magic troupe)

[2004][MV] No Brain "넌 내게 반했어" (You fell for me)
[2005][Live] No Brain "미친듯 놀자" (Let's have fun like crazy)

This indie band named Biuret is awesome.

[2007][Live] Biuret "웃지않는 공주" (The princess who doesn't smile)
[2007][Live] Biuret "거짓말" (Lie)

Let me know if you've ever come across a Korean All-Girl Death Metal/ Thrash Metal/ Heavy Metal/ Gothic Metal or Neo-classical Power Metal band. I'd be a big fan of that band right on.

I really like this girl band SECRET but they aren't as famous. I like their music (catchy!), looks (not slutty!) and dance moves (really cute!) more than SNSD, Kara, Wondergirls and other very popular girl bands.

^ "Starlight Moonlight" was/is quite popular. They are still doing a lot better than no-name girl groups like Dal Shabet or Chi Chi lol Zinger got a weird name, eh? Zinger's real name is Hana.

Let me introduce two prominent Korean indie labels that I like. Both were established in 2002.

[Official YouTube Channel] Pastel Music

[Official YouTube Channel] Fluxus Music

Guckkasten has been around for a while but they released their first album not too long ago.

[2008][Live] Gukkasten "거울" (Mirror)
[2010][Live] Guckkasten "Vitriol"
[2010][MV] Guckkasten "Manicure"

There is this all-girl band named NIA. They do soft rock. The lead vocalist has a very clear voice.

[2009][MV] NIA "Good-bye"
[2010][MV] NIA "기억의 숲" (Forest of memories)

There was Han's Band. They are sisters. The youngest one was 13 when they debuted in 1998. I think they are still active underground.

[2001]Han's Band "친구야 사랑해" (I love you, friend)

Here's one of the best fancams for SNSD's Jessica singing Tamia's "Almost".

[Fancam] Jessica (SNSD) "Almost"

I like this song in their Japanese album. Nice lyrics.

[Fancam] SNSD "Born To Be A Lady"
