Allright, well I am not born from Mongolia, I am from Russia, but my family is Oirat people, which is desendants from Mongolians and Genghis Khan. I am always consider myself to be an Asian, because we does not have very good relation with white people in Europe. But what i am wondering, maybe some Chinese people does not have a very good relation with Mongolia, and if I am visiting to China maybe they will take aggressive action towards me?
I would very much like to visit many Asian countries, but I am wanting to be careful that I do not go to a place where they will not accept me. Can anyone Chinese please provide answer for my question? Thank you |

It would be more dangerous for a Chinese to go to Mongolia than vice-versa.

Thank you it's the other way around actually, although many of us don't understand it. maybe too many nationalist trolls online make ppl think we are all like that, or many bad people went to mongolia that brought bad images of us, who knows. |

Well, mostly I am just hearing stories from some Mongolian friends. You see, I am born and raised in Russia, so I am never able to go to China or Mongolia to see these opinions. Only I am listen to stories. One of them I hear is that for chinese they are not like Mongolians because they are consider them to be different race, not Asian, but something else. But I am not certain to believe this :P But also, I am speak to a Chinese person on another forum website who say that I can never be Asian, and that he is consider my people to be lower humanity. But perhaps he is not speak for the whole country? I am certainly not have any prejudice against China |

Don't worry, you are Asian. The Chinese person who spoke with you in another forum, is of course ignorant himself.
Chinese in general are genuinely friendly to foreigners and "curious" at the same time. Of course, not to said that there aren't bad seeds either. |

I too am also very interest about China, and I am viewing them as very similar to my own people, just like Mongolians. I think that the three groups of Oirat, Mongolian, and Chinese have very much similarity between them, and we must all learn to become friends with each other to help understand our similar ways. Thank you for your positive responding, by the way |

It's more dangerous for a Chinese to go to Mongolia, than Mongolian in China. China is very very safe for foreigners, you can see many foreigners from many parts of the world in China. Btw, I'm happy to meet with my fellow Asian from Russia. I welcome you to China. Well, mostly I am just hearing stories from some Mongolian friends. Probably it is the Mongolian who reject themself as Asian. I read many articles in internet about Turks mentality (Turkey to be precisely) to be associated themself and Genghis Khan with Caucasoid. Btw, you probably met a fake Chinese or mental ill Chinese, I wonder what forum is it? This post has been edited by Hugham: Dec 17 2011, 02:12 PM |

I am certainly not have any prejudice against China na, it's the other way around, many people online spouting ultra-nationlists cr@ps just to defend themselves, why would you take that seriously it doesn't matter you like China or not, people always pay more attention to the @ssholes without thinking deeper, I can ensure you no one would act aggressively against you only because you're mongolian maybe people expect china to act more civilly or responsibly, but forget this country has just been developing or captalising for a little more than 30 years, a load of sh1t will happen during this fast-pace development, if you take look at england before industrial revolution, same cr@ps happened there too This post has been edited by ElapsePride: Dec 17 2011, 02:08 PM |

In Russia, when Stalin was try to industryalize the country, he make terrible policies that starve many people, and make many families living in fear from police and army. They are still not teach about these things, only I am learn when I am visit UK and read some books. This seems like things which happen when country goes through much change at very fast rate. Country does better, but people still suffer. |

I know of this. it is not Turkey, but TURKIC. this is different thing from Turkish :P Turkic are sort of name for group of Mongoloid people which lives in central Asia and has slightly different customs from Chinese or East Asians, like how some of them are Muslim. But these Turkic people is still decendant from Asian, so they should not view themself as different. I hope I clarify for you Nobody in Asia want to be Turkish This post has been edited by RheeSan21: Dec 17 2011, 02:32 PM |

Can anyone Chinese please provide answer for my question? Thank you I think Mongolian are good people and they are welcome anytime in Laos. Also we expect to do a big business together in the future since Mongolian is a good place for farming cattle and other farming business and sustain the people of the Lao and Mongolian people alike. As they say, Mongolian has the green rich grass valley while Laos has the tropical paradise for fruits and other produce. It would make a big difference if these two country exchange trade on fresh produce. |
