Skirt Length, what skirt length looks best? Options

I have a theory with skirt length
Because my legs are not that long, and therefore look a bit stumpy, I try to wear clothes that make my legs look longer. I think that skirts that sit exactly at my knee make my legs look short, whereas a skirt that sits well above my knee or a skirt that sits at my ankle will create the optical illusion of longer legs.
What do people think?

lol well I wouldn't know, b/c I don't like long skirts [meaning below the knee] and my mom wont let me buy short skirts [meaning above the knee], so I don't have any, and don't even bother trying them on. -_-'

well im pretty short...like around 5'3 i think??...so its kinda better for me to wear short skirts...they dont look as bad on short people, but i dont think taller people should wear short short skirts. but yeh a lot of my skirts are pretty short...like a lot of them are maybe somewhere around 5 inches above the top of my knee...and i wear them to like dances and parties and i even wore two short ones on xmas and thankgsiving. for like church my skirts are only like 2 or 3 inches above the knee. and my school skirt is like 3 inches above the top of my knee.

i dont think i own any skirts below my knee...all of mine come above it...bcos the longer ones dont look good on me and they make my legs look fat lol

i think if ur short, above the knee is better because it doesnt make them look so short. im 5'8 but when i wear knee length skirts they kind of make my calves look like chicken legs so im the same, i have opt out for the shorter ones to balance it all out. These days shops sell skirts 2 shorts so im picky with ones i buy, like i dont wanna show my bum crack or anythingu know, but we all have these problems lol ahahha =)

PS; long skirts are for grannies i think & below the knee is only if u have an ultra nice body for it

lol I think short skirts look better on me tho. It sucks my mom's so strict. -_-' She thinks any skirts above my knees are too long. gRr..
