USA has been rallying countries all around China to encircle China and then destroy her.

China has very little interest in military alliances and allies, but the US just love to push buttons. We'll see how China will react and offer to Vietnam as a counter-measure.

Don't see any reasons Vietnam would gang up to destroy China. It is natural for Vietnam to have balanced influences from both USA and China, while South Korea and Japan are overinfluenced by the USA

no, I don't think so either. Vietnam is acting in its own interests which is basically a balance between China and the U.S. there is no such thing as true allies anymore. each country needs to balance between multiple powers. SK and Japan are too heavily influenced, almost to the point of dependency on the U.S. right now especially in terms of military command.

No. Same thing to a lot of China mainland for a while, because it was under strict communist rule. I like it how you connect from a political move to something else that is not worth discussing here.

If you haven't realized anything even though Vietnam and USA relationship is warming up, a large part of Vietnamese government officials participated in the Vietnam and Sino-Vietnam War, so the goverment largely still mistrusts BOTH powers, China and USA.

i dont think vietnam would want another war with china, we cant afford it, the secret war between vietnam and china from 1979 to 1988 basically almost bankrupt vietnam, the only thing vietnam wants from america is their dollars and their technology besides that nothing else, vietnam would rather be neutral and reap the benefits
