On November 26th, “Show on Stage” made its way to Mohegan Sun Casino with a dazzling bang. Donned in Michael Jackson inspired outfits with the glittery military look, Show (aka Alan Luo/羅志祥) kicked off the concert with a mesmerizing dance number. Within minutes, he managed to bring the house down – followed by a number of fast-paced songs (King’s Game/國王遊戲, Chance Chance/嗆司嗆司) to complement his dance moves. Although empty sections made it visibly apparent that the concert was unfortunately not sold out, it did not stop Show from charming the ladies in the audience.
Aside from his appealing smile and cute attempts to speak Cantonese/English, he definitely had his way with the ladies. During the middle of the concert, a lucky fan was chosen to be serenaded during his performance of 幾分. This fortunate gal wasted no time with him from the moment she got on stage. Holding his hand, hugging him and taking multiple self-portraits with him – it was entertaining for all to watch her go gaga over this Taiwanese pop idol. Show was definitely relieved when the song ended, but being the gentleman that he was – he allowed her to give him a kiss on the cheeks towards the end of the song! Brownie points for handling this situation with such poise!
As the concert went on, Show continued to woo the girls in the audience with his soothing ballads, including Clown Fish/小丑魚, Gray Dimension /灰色空間 and Self-Hypnosis/ 自我催眠. Dressed in a cute bubble skirt, Rainy Yang eventually made her way to the stage to perform 戀愛達人 in a duet with Show.
Show on Stage Concert Tour kicked off on June 9, 2007 in Shanghai and traveled to other cities including Beijing, Taipei, Singapore, Jiangsu and Hong Kong. Recently, he was the one to win the most awards at the first Singapore Entertainment Awards, including Most Popular Male Singer, Most Stylish Hunk and Best Artiste Of The Year (All-Round).
Show expressed interest in music at the tender age of 3. He eventually entered the entertainment industry as a teenager, participating in pop groups Four Heavenly Kings and Romeo before going solo and collaborating with stars like Jolin Tsai, Jay Chou, and Joey Yung.
When Show is not busy singing and dancing, he can be found acting in movies/tv dramas, endorsing multiple products and even playing the role as the "Love Ambassador" for McDonald’s World Children’s Day. From the looks of it all, it looks like show time is far from over.
