You don't seem like a bigot, from reading your posts. In my mind bigotry is tied to conservatism and ethnic/nationalistic style prejudices and you don't really seem to carry any of that.

I'm more of a liberal than most asians. Not just most asians but I guess just most people in general. Left wing both in economics (generally I support the 99%/OWS movement) and socially too. Most asians don't know how to make non asian friends and even then, they seem to only know more how to get to know westerners. I can already count many south asians and africans among my friends, which is a lot different than many other asians.

Everyone has prejudices of some sort.

I must admit that it is the same with me. My prejudices are to very specific cultural and/or religious groups; and they are prejudices I learned from the way I was treated personally and repeatedly.
I squelch my feelings when I have to deal with strangers who are part of those groups and strive to treat them equally, but only once have I ever made a true friend across my self imposed barriers to those allied with them.

racism is a western concept. in reality there is no such thing as racism. i prefer the word prejudice

I agree. Race was really a concept that came out of left field. Before racism, we discriminated through other factors.
