tis is interesting. hmong are the only asian people that the women "nyob dua hlis" whatver that is... beside one middle eastern tribe. i think traditionally, hmong dishes contain herbs -- fish and chickens with lots of herbs from what i've seen and eaten. i would like to get a follow up on this research and how it helps preveting cancer

Omg, this is too funny...my cousin also researches plants at UW-Stout but this guy wow, what he's doing is quite interesting...taking on "Hmong plants" out of all the the other plants he could have.
So apparently judging from this vid...Hmong medicinal plants do have some benefits, possibly can help kill cancer cells? Lol. Gee, guess my mom and granny weren't kidding when they emphasized the importance of Hmong herbs, veggies and greens... |

that's why i eat lots of hmong herbs. i always feel good whenever my foods have herbs in them.

Lots of Hmong herbs and veggies contain Phytochemicals. We human cannot produce these essential chemical compounds so we get them from plants by eating them. The plants must be eaten fresh for their effectiveness deteriorate pretty quickly.
As for the pilot research portal mentioned in the video, no earth shattering discovery that would set the scientific world on its head yet. It is an on-going project, so maybe they will find something soon. And when they do we all will know about it for it will be all over the news |
