In Lao language, that word is spelled as SAWATDEE...but because our written language is phonetic, SAWASDEE would have to be pronounced as SAWASDEE even though the final S sound is unnatural to us.

We can accept his stupidity about Thai language like saying Thai people pronounce ROGER as ROGEN. But when come to Lao language, he just can't make any excuse. The above quote has showed that he has no clue about his own mother's language. Not only he is an idiot in Lao language, he also a Lao liar.

It's absolutely 10000000% Savan's BS and lie. Final S in any Indic loan words always pronounce as Final D. Due to the nature tongue of Tai speaking people. This doesn't mean modern Tai speakers can't pronounce Final S. They can, but not in Indic loan words or any English loan words.

But Lao writing cannot do like the Thai's do when come to foreign loan words. Thai writing preserve the roots of foreign loan words but Lao doesn't. So we know what the words are from, what the real meaning of those words. Unlike Lao, they are just lost in space of stupidity. They even don't know what the true meaning of their Laos' capital (Wieng Chan) is. They must look at Thai word which is more elegance and well preserved the word roots (Wieng Chandana). Or even Lao's greeting word, Sabai dee. Laotard members think it's Lao but it's NOT, It's Indic Sappaya! Your backward phonetic just make you LOST in your identity.
