i personally thinks that all asian from the lower part of asia is decendent of the chinese ppls because we we were in china before where were moved down to the lower part of asia so when we develop our own country we became that....

viet and han are different, but viet can be considered a lost yeuh tribe that never assimiliated into the Han

as for viet being cambodian, NO...we are in noway related to them, we didnt even have contact with them since Champa was blocking our way til 1300's, but i have done some research, and i see alot of cambodians say that china and and cambodia are long lost blood brothers

no khmer would say that $hit, we have our own identity and history, we dont need to leetch on to the chinese so we have something to glorify about. stop making up bull$hit, the people that would say those things are sino khmers. if you want to be chinese then go ahead neinei but dont bring khmer people into your poor excuse for an argument.

han evolved from north , cambodian evolved from south , thai and laos migrated from southern china and moved west.

Having a bad history doesn't mean that one is not han chinese. It is just like taiwan's relationship with china now, they want to be a separate nation but the taiwanese are still han chinese in terms of culture, looks and language.

It could be that the han chinese doesn't know that the vietnamese are blood brothers ? Judging by so many similarities between han chinese and vietnamese - culture, looks, language etc. that china cannot share with other ethnic groups such as the mongolians or xinjiang people.

I remember somewhere that there was a chinese general with surname of "nguyen" who controlled the nam viet region after the tang dynasty collapsed (before the collapse, he was a chinese working for the government), are all those vietnamese with surname of "nguyen" his descendents ? Nguyen is the largest surname in vietnam.
