do viets know jay chou?

Jay chou are so famous in chinese based country, how about in vietnam? Recently, viets are so get into korean pop music, how about jay chou chance to be famous in vietnam?

Yes. Last year a cantonese singer went to vietnam and had a lot of fans. I dont see why jay cant make it

Jay quite famous in japan even korea, since his movie " secret" made good result in those country, I saw jay held concert in japan, but I don't know jay has any concert in vietnam, I though korean artist defeat chinese artist in vietnam market, vietnamese now change their taste into korean pop, do viets still like for hongkong music or tvb? How about their local music?

He is one of chinese actor played as kato in greenhornet, if you watched that movie, you will know him, aside of that, jay chou is taaiwanese artist has huge popularity among asian especially international chinese community

He pretty cool in his movie " intial d " I like the way he drive the car

These days HK and Taiwan pop are not popular like before 2005.
Yes, K-pop defeat C-pop in Vietnam. Other reason is Vpop knock out Cpop too rockon.gif

Anybody know any chinese artist gain popularity in viets?

I think f4 with their meteor garden wave once famous among viets, but that was long time ago...

its called hana yori dango, and yes its very popular in Vietnamese, i used to like it a lot, i read the whole manga and also watch the movie, i still owned one volume of it published in Vietnam in 2002.

Hana yori dango (taiwan so called meteor garden... Vietnam so called con nha giau...)




Taiwan remade it...

i do know of stephen chow, i like his movies a lot, they are funny as hell... he is the only one can compare with our Xuan Bac.

Don't know jay has viet or lao ancestry, I guess his is full chinese, I read that his ancestor was from southern fujian, for viets, there is little chance since taiwanese married to viets, but lao, hardly to believe there is even any lao in taiwan

Stephen chow is legend, just watch kungfu hustle that movie, will make you laugh till your fake teeth falling apart

Hana yori dango has many version based on country where it produced, do viets make vietnamese version of hana yori dango?

Which one do you think is the best of hana yori dango? Taiwan korea japan china filipino indonesia?

the best version is Viet version which is going to be made in the near future, and yes of course there is no Vietnamese version yet.

the second could be Japanese version.

o yes, stephen chow, when i watch his god of gamble i laugh like i have never laughed before.
