Show me where? I know about Harisu but what about others in Korean society? why do you need to ask this question? there are homosexuals in various societies. why would they not exist in korea then, why unless if your question is is there gay north koreans or gay siberians or gay amazon indians around, considering they are probably shielded well from the "undesirable worldly sins of the outside world". and in fact, several korean movies are rather forefront in tackling difficult sexual issues, including homosexuality. one of the movie that i do remember quite well is road movie, which i got a shock from the scenes right at the start of the movie. i did expect homosexual scenes but i didn't expect it to come so fast. the toilet scene of an impromptu event with a stranger is also hideous with that homosexual passerby behaving extremely pansy. on a side note, many korean movies touches well on sexual issues without appearing boring. i quite like oasis, a lee chang dong movie, on depicts a women with cerebral palsy who didn't resist but indeed yearn for a semi-imposed sexual engagement by another man who was mildly retarded with impulsive behaviours and who can never get down on a proper job becos attention deficit disorder. in another movie, bad guy, it depicts of how a girl who look like a pimp's ex-girlfriend was being threatened into prostitution becos she had stolen from a shop and the pimp saw it. it ended up that the girl become used to prostitution and fall in love with this pimp after seeing a photo of the pimp's girlfriend who look exactly like her and the two carry on the life of a pimp and a prostitute. while there is little speech as typical as kim ki duk's movie, the story line is captivating and is not boring. however, as much as much feminist will be angry with what he had done, i find the story implausible. come' on, if u r a girl, would u rather be caught for minor theft or to go into prostitution? and i can't phantom the girl falling in love with this silent man who was behind everything, hardly talked and fall in love just becos of a photograph. but if there are movies that bores me a lot, i had to admit i cannot appreciate hong sang soo's movies well. i haven't been watching korean movies recently but a number of his earlier movies never interest me. Haha the best answer so far. "The King and the clown" was a box office hit in Korea when it was released in 2005 and it has gay theme. Lee Junki was a main actor. Watch the movie with English sub here 왕의 남자 The King and the clown ![]() |

I don't want to offend anybody but can anybody tell me why do the Koreans (and other asians) like girl like boys, who can kiss each other on people's eyes, dance like girls etc. I have noticed that a lot of fans like this kind of behaviour. Are feminine guys adorable from the point of view of Korean culture?
