He means the more you know, the more you understand that we humans are nothing. In this universe, we are insignificant. Therefore we feel lesser.

I wouldn't say that knowing I'm insignificant has made me feel any "lesser."

More knowledge can sometimes be a distraction to what you feel is the right thing to do. I'm not talking about the specific scenario where somebody is exposed and pressured by excessive amounts of information, but instead its the gradual effect overtime... umm how should I explain this... well like I always seem to grasp something initially, then for some weird reason as time goes by I become less and less sensitive to the activity I'm doing and ultimately losing the ability to successfully achieve the task of which in the past it appeared to be a piece of cake for me.

This is how humans relate to the universe...this is how all religions was created....When a human learns from Religion like Budhhism they know not only the Religion but other aspects of the human nature to an extent.

Humans learning ability is limited...We cant achieve the unlimited... But we do try to learn through school and other signs of education. Me personaly I feel more knowledgable everyday...I studied textbooks, research online, and even look up magazines....Finally I read my bible to back up all the information Ive collected and learn alot more from that book as well. My only fascination that Man discovered is time, besides my religion and what not.
