Alright, since there are waayyy too many new members and members in general to tell off on this topic right now, I'm making a general announcement.
THIS FORUM DOES NOT ALLOW DOUBLE POST Definition of a double post means to make consecutive posts (which means 1 post following a post you just made earlier). IF you forgot to mention something, simply edit the previous post. To edit, it is on the top right corner of your post. Click it and type whatever you forgot to add and ta-da. The only exception that I can think of at the moment in which double post is excused is when people are posting PHOTOS. So everybody, PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND. And for those who don't double post thank you for saving forum space. Later. [edit] There. I used the edit button cuz i forgot to mention something. lol anyway, ANYONE WHO IS CAUGHT DOUBLE POSTING TWICE FROM THIS POINT ON WILL BE GIVEN A WARNING. (That applies to me and my sections, if any other mods wish to follow that be my guest) and once again. later. This post has been edited by KoRn: Aug 4 2004, 09:51 PM |

QUOTE (dalawapo @ Aug 5 2004, 09:47 PM) hehe, i dont think i go into korns sections very often... but cuong u know u my daddy on the forums Daddy? just when did i adopt a new son. About the Double posting rules. It doesn't matter if it is my section or not. And it does not matter who the member is, as long as they double post, then it is breaking the forum rule and if it caught my attention the punishment shaw be implemented. Anyone under 500post i just give them a verbal warning and ask then to follow the forum rules and not to double post again. Repetition of double posting will end with a warning, no matter who the member is. Anyone who is over 500post i usually just give a warning right off without any verbal warning, becasue they should know better. This goes for everyone whether you are my AF Brouther, my AF Sister or my AF Daughter. This post has been edited by Cuong: Aug 5 2004, 06:44 AM |

You know sometimes the computer registers a double click as a second post, and posts up two of the same thing! :-O but there is no delete button to save yourself from a warning!

Mods can't warn them self. has a MOD ever warned another MOD in AF History??? and for what reasons??? and what was the outcome?? interesting... oh yea, does that new rule apply to newbies as well??? sucks for them! however, maybe you can find a way in which the Forum Guideline ( http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/index.php?act=boardrules ) is a part of the AF screen name registration process so that the newbies don't overlook this and forget about the rules... :genius: (maybe make it a part of the mandatory Terms of Agreement in which one must agree to in order to become a member??) QUOTE (dalawapo @ Aug 5 2004, 06:38 AM) did korn say he would warn himself if he caught himself double posting? No i did not. I'm saying this rule applies to my modding in my sections. and if u accidently just clicked twice we can tell, cuz there'll be the exact same post twice. i'll be as fair as possible. |
