I have a Sanyo about 6 years old, and all of it sudden there is just a horitzontal line there. Is there any way I can fix this without taking it to a shop. It happen once 2 weeks ago, but shortly after it revert itself back.

um... so is it still a problem?
you've gotta give some more info...
is the horizontal line showing regardless of which input you set it to?
also, are you able to get the TV settings menu to display?

My dad is considering of just getting a new one. Is a shame 2 TVs we had for a while just went out on us this year alone. You have any ideas why my television got messed up. I was thinking of the old speakers that my dad put in the living room set.

The one that broke in the summer been with me for 10, even though the power button fell off 6 years in, it still worked perfectly. I think is a conspiracy from some higher being saying, GO HD!!! lol. So far I see a 32" Westinghouse LCD HDTV for 799.99, but I don't know how good Westinghouse. I see a 30" I forgot the manufacturer either samsung or panasonic with 1080p for about the same price.

The TV I"m looking at now is a LTV-32W6
