ehh... after the arrival of the aboriginal filipinos were the proto-malays, which originated from the yunnan plateau in china. so yea filipinos came from china.

however, this was AGES ago. the languages and cultures of both countries have differentiated greatly.

Little bit of caucasian? You arent referring to the Spanish are you? Reasons being is that a lot of Filipinos aren't even Spanish, they just adopted their surnames for various reasons.

And how is it that Filipinos are also Negrito?

Filipinos = Malay

Same as with Thailand and all the other Malay countries in the Malay Archipelago.

i was referring to mexican spanish. i believe that not all filipinos have spanish blood but in my family tree, i was able to trace my ancestry and i really have a grandfather from mexico who probably have spanish blood. there was a time in since the 15th century there where some 200000 filipinos went to mexico and some of the mexicans went to the philippines and i dont know how many. my friend also who is a filipino have mexican ancestors also.

the philippines have corn but it really it came from mexico and philippines and mexicans have similar cultures and we also have the same currency the peso so the philippines and mexicans are really connected.

I don't mean to sound condescending, but I am just giving input.

First of all, the Peso was created by the Spaniards in the Spanish Empire. Mexico isn't the only country that uses Peso, a lot of coutries in South America do too. So using that as a bond really isn't helpful, since more than just Mexicans use it, and it was a creation by the Spaniards.

I do know that it was the Spanish Mexicans that went to the Phillipines though. Never heard of the Filipinos going to Mexico, this is the first time I have. I have heard of Germans, as I had a friend that was German/Mexican, since his grandparents came from WWII Germany.

well,pinoys and sundic malays originated in the malay archipelago the pinoys ancestors remained in the northeast of the malay archpelago and descended from those ancestors are the ethnolingustic groups of the philippines while the ancestors of the sundic malays continued to indonesia and the ancestors of borneans(inc. malagassy) are much
closely related with the ancestors of the filipinos than the sundic malays.

austronesians as a whole came from fujian,china/taiwan in the ancient territory of the southeners/yue/austrics.

But ya there is a war between the two of them, some pretty violent stuff too like getting cut up and all. I forgot the article that I read but ya, it's going on because of Political issues.

EDIT: Wow some of them look Polynesian too. I never bothered looking at the people but some of them do like Polys to me. Guess its because some of them mixed same as the Malays and the Melanesians did so long ago. Pretty cool
