There are serious questions about the Pakistanis' involvement or incompetence here.

They are pointing to the fact that they have had a lot of security co-operation over the years with the Americans, and that is why the Americans were ultimately able to carry out this operation - although Pakistan does admit it was not involved in the operation itself.

But the concern for a lot of Pakistanis is the future, and the fact that there may be repercussions.

There are thousands of militants still in the tribal areas, and if they decide to take revenge, it is likely that Pakistani civilians will pay the price, as they have done in the past.

Yes it is a perfect example for Taqqiya. It is inconceivable that Pakistan has no knowledge of OBL residing comforatbly for over six years there, in a gentrified suburb with the best military academy close by. It is just unbelievable.

Pakistan has alot to answer for. Almost the whole country is in mourning for the death of OBL and mass demonstration calling for the death of US is rife.

I anticipate heighten tension between the US and Pakistan. Pakistan has threatened the US for more $$ to fight terrorism or no more coporations. Todate, the US has given the Paki close to $20 Billions in aid. There is another $6 Billion to come, for 2011-12. One wonder where all that $$ gone to. A US congressman said on CNN that no doubt it is gone to enrich the Pakistanis nuclear capability and more weapons for the Tallibans.

Pakistan is playing America for "Mugs." They are just taking American Dollars and then laughing at the Americans. To claim that their top ISI did not know of that building and that it was a safe house for Osama is a story too tall to believe. If it is to be believed then the ISI are not worth the salaries paid them and should be sacked, all of them. But the ISI are complicit with the Taliban is closer to the truth.
